We are a confederation of adventure tourism guides with significant experience in the field of Law 4:2013, DLGS 13:2013 and ISO 17024.
The International Confederation of Adventure Tourism Guides (LATIC) is the united expression of the Federations, Coordinations, Associations, companies, professionals and individuals who reside in Italy, Europe and internationally and perform:
- a professional activity under Law 4/2013 as amended in the field of adventure tourism;
- a professional activity in the field of adventure tourism or a profession as referred to in Article 2229 et seq. of the Civil Code;
- any other professional activity related to adventure tourism, in any way regulated by law;
- a business activity of producing goods and providing services with a complex or individual organisation in the field of adventure tourism;
- an activity in the general interest, in the form of voluntary action or the provision of money, goods or services free of charge, or mutuality or the production or exchange of goods or services with a civic, solidarity and socially useful purpose.
As an autonomous social partner, the LATIC aims at the development of all people, professions, enterprises, associations, federations, associated organisations and their participation in the economic and social policy choices of the country in the specific field of adventure tourism. The Confederation promotes the protection and enhancement of the role of these subjects and/or organisations, also in terms of equal opportunities, in the Italian constitutional, legislative, economic and social system and in the corresponding European contexts.
La LATIC aims at the protection and promotion of the association system of professions, enterprises and of the third and fourth sector, enhancing its role, also in terms of equal opportunities, in the national constitutional, legislative, economic and social system whatever it may be and in the corresponding European and non-European spheres, in the specific field of adventure tourism. The Confederation does not pursue political, religious or profit-making purposes, is non-partisan and undertakes to ensure, in respect of the confederates and in compliance with their statutes, full transparency in organisational management and administrative management, as well as in that of the articulations and any corporate and organisational emanations directly or indirectly controlled.
La LATIC is the sole owner of its registered trademark, as well as of the sign depicted that distinguishes the emblem and any subsequent elaborations thereof, which all members are entitled to use free of charge in their activities, for as long as the association bond lasts and in accordance with the procedures established by the Confederation
